I know I know, everyone is thinking either; who is Jack Lalanne or what does this have to do with Martial Arts? Well, to start with Jack Lalanne has nothing to do with martial arts but he does have a TON to do with fitness, weight loss and having an overall healthy lifestyle. That’s something that I think everyone can relate to.
Lets talk about Jack for a min or two. Jack was a pioneer in the fitness world and had been doing fitness shows on TV since the 40’s. I first say him when I was 21 or 22 years old and he was well into his late 80’s. He was still super fit and got up everyday to lift weights and do some cardio. For a guy that old to get up and be that active….well i took notice.
He was also a master of his eating habits, something that everyone should also try to be. I read that Jack Lalanne was a vegan. Not sure if that’s try but if so that’s pretty hardcore I admit. I just know that he eat the right way with lots of fruits and veggies and lived to be 96. Take note of that!
